Cooperativity between Dimerization and Binding Equilibria in the Ternary System Laponite-Indocyanine Green-Water

Laponite is an artificial nanoclay available in large quantities and at low cost. This marterial represents efficient suitable way of delivering hydrophobic vital dyes without the need for chemical functionalization. cost, then it would be The hydrodynamic diameter laponite extrapolated to infinite dilution indicates that this clay completely exfoliated. Furthermore, laponite-Indocyanine green-water ternary system, a fixed concentration (2% (m/m)) exhibits saturation curve. It was found dye zero smaller than pure water. Absorption spectra with exhibit red shift 10–13 nm. On contrary, acquired constant do not undergo any displacement. deconvolution two Gaussian peaks allows calculate monomeric dimeric species. results were interpreted as synergy between dimerization balance dye-laponite binding.
